*SPECIAL NOTE: This is a Secret Movie Club holiday party! Come in costume. Come ready to celebrate the holidays with two 60's psychedelic classics. On 35mm. In a movie palace. We'll make it fun. You just bring yourselves and your love of cinema.

For any screenings with 35mm prints, always be prepared that we may have to use a DCP.digital backup just in case.

You can get two for one (two tickets for the price of one) to any individual movie or get the GROOVY DOUBLE FEATURE pass (best deal) while supplies last.

Also plan to visit the historic Grand Central Market just next door for breakfast, lunch, or early dinner before, between, or after the movies. You can bring in food and drink from the market into the theater!

1p DANGER: DIABOLIK (1968) 35mm Shot back to back with Barbarella, both movies produced by Dino De Laurentis, Danger: Diabolik is Italian giallo and horror auteur Mario Bava's answer to James Bond. Only crazier. More hilarious. And more Euro-swinging.

Based on Italian comics just as BARBARELLA was based on English comics, Danger: DIabolik follows master thief Diabolik (John Phillip Law who also stars in Barbarella), his lover Eva, and Detective Ginko (art cinema star Michel Piccoli slightly confused to be in this kind of movie) in a game of cat & mouse over $10 million that Diabolik and Eva have stolen. The only movie that could rival Barbarella's crazy sets and set pieces, Danger Diabolik has so many Bava touches and so many amazing sets, sequences, camerawork that both Diabolik and Barbarella became pop culture touchstones that inspired countless musicians, moviemakers, artists in the decades to come.

Sometimes movies can just be goofy, wild, campy, over the top, delirious, and joyous. Just like the holidays themselves.

Join us for this incredible psychedelic double feature that doubles as our 2025 holiday party!
